This is “Ofe Owerri” one of so many sumptuous Igbo soups

This is “Ofe Owerri” one of so many sumptuous Igbo soups. It was however a culture shock for me when I got to Owerri, Imo State and was offered soup without palm oil floating on it! Palm oil has to be visible in Yoruba soup.
Today however, I am a fan of Igbo soups. I was pleasantly surprised however, when at a seminar, I met a Hausa man who told me that he not only loves Igbo soups but that he can also prepare Oha soup!
What is your favourite Igbo soup?
