PA IDU was born at Ogbealaka in today Benin city , there was a time it rained so much that the land was filled with water, Pa Idu migrated to Uhe in present day Kogi where he died, Pa Idu has 3 sons , Akka, EFA and Emehi , Akka died early and the leadership of Idu fell on EFA and Emehi , the 2 surviving sons of IDU, when eventually these 2 brothers passed on, their descendants spread out from Ogboka present day Benin city as a result of progress and general growth in population to found new villages .
During the village formation period, the original villages of central Ogboka plains that were developed by the offspring of the founding fathers, EFA and Emehi the 2 surviving sons of Pa Idu were known as Idu N’ Owa, the present day Edo people, those that grew by migration into Outlying areas of Idu land were called Idu N’urria , which have to do with Urhobo, Ika, Onitsha Idu and others Descendants who migrated out of IDU land present day Edo land, to answer your question about Igbos, take note the children of Idu were never known as Igbo and they are not Igbo, the name Igbo came from the name Igbon which means uncircumcised person in Idu language
