The traditional ruler of Adazi-Enu, HRH Igwe A. O. Okpalaechelu (Obi Okotu 2 ) Eze Adazi-Enu, His Highness Sunday Ezeokonkwo (Onowu Adazi-Enu), Ndi Ichie, The Igwe-in-Council and Adazi-Enu Town Union (A.T.U.) Home & Abroad hereby, officially announce the dates for 2024 Adazi-Enu New Yam Festival celebrations as follows:
- Ikpo- ji = on Saturday 20th July, 2024 at Nkwo Market center starting from 10:00am
- Iwa-ji = on Saturday 17th August, 2024 at Tim Okpala Memorial hall, Adazi-Enu starting from 12:00noon.
All villages, all ATU Branches, ATU in Diaspora, all Age Grades, all Ichies both old & new, all High Rank Chieftaincy & Title holders, all Nze elili ukwu’s, all Nze na Ozo’s, all Religious Leaders – Priests, all Churches, the Women Leader & all Women Wings, the Youth Leader & all Youth Wings, all Native Chief Priests and their followers (if any), all Clubs and the entire bonafide Indigenes of Adazi-Enu both male & female Including non- Indigenes living in Adazi-Enu are cordially invited. Come and identify with the newly elected ATU (Home & Abroad) Executives.
May Almighty God continue to bless us all, as we come together to celebrate the already established culture of our dear town Adazi-Enu (Isi Obu Okotu Igwurube Akateghete).
