This Is Onitsha City, Anambra State, Nigeria🇳🇬
It is a city on the eastern bank of the Niger River, in Anambra State, Nigeria. It’s the state’s largest city. Onitsha is known for its river port.
Onitsha is a regional hub for commerce, industry, and education. It is the central city of one of the largest metropolitan areas in Nigeria with a fast growing population. Almost all traders in West Africa visit Onitsha to buy goods.
Onitsha markets have trained more millionaires than most universities in Nigeria combined because of the Igbo ‘Igba Boi’ system which has been in existence for so long and it’s part of the Igbo culture whereby a servant is settled by his master after few years of learning trade.
Here comes the Onitsha Head Bridge (Niger Bridge) which has an aura of welcoming all Eastern travelers heading towards Eastern Nigeria from most parts of Nigeria especially Western Nigeria. Once every Igbo traveler gets to this bridge they feel safe and most of them begin to call their relatives telling them they would see them in few minutes
Onitsha is a bustling city full of life, businesses and deserves a visit.
