Historical evidence reveals that Black Africans played a foundational role in the establishment of ancient Chinese civilization. Known as the Li-Min or “Black Headed People” during the Zhou dynasty, they were referred to by the Babylonians as Sag-Gig-Ga, which also translates to “Black Headed People.” One of the most revered legendary emperors of China, Fu-Hsi, often called the “Son of Heaven,” is described as a woolly-haired Black man who contributed significantly to the formation of the oracle in the I Ching or Book of Change, a cornerstone of Chinese philosophical thought.

Additionally, it is important to recognize the true origins of martial arts—disciplines such as karate, kickboxing, and wrestling. Contrary to popular belief, these forms of combat did not originate in the regions typically associated with them today. Instead, their roots can be traced back to ancient Africa.

For instance, Imhotep, the renowned polymath of ancient Egypt, had carvings in his tomb that depicted wrestling holds and a variety of fighting techniques, underscoring how far back Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) martial arts and combat knowledge extends. The evidence of these early depictions of martial arts demonstrates the deep and advanced knowledge of physical combat that existed in Africa long before it spread to other parts of the world.

Similarly, the original inhabitants of the Indian subcontinent were Black Africans, known as Dravidians or Afro-Australoids. These African-descended people established the Indus Valley Civilization around 3000 B.C., revitalizing spiritual sciences that had their origins in Africa. Practices such as yoga, kundalini awakening, and reflexology were all rooted in African spiritual traditions before they took hold in India and later spread worldwide.

Moreover, the influence of African civilization is also visible in traditional Chinese medicine. The methods and logic behind Chinese medicine can be traced back to the ancient Egyptians (Kemetics), who viewed the universe as an interconnected, cyclical process. There were no firm boundaries between rest and motion, time and space, mind and matter, or even sickness and health. The Chinese philosophical concept of reality as a unified field, known as Tao, reflects this same holistic view of the universe. It links emotions, natural events, climate, sound, and energy in an interconnected flow that echoes the principles first established by African thinkers.

Upon reviewing this wealth of evidence, it becomes clear that Africans laid the groundwork for many of the world’s ancient civilizations and cultural traditions. From China to India and beyond, the influence of African people is undeniable. They provided the blueprint for human knowledge and culture, and all other civilizations are mere variations and adaptations of this original foundation. In truth, we are all connected by this shared African heritage. The conclusion is simple:
