You Can’t Use Guns To Win Hearts – My Official Statement on The Arrest of Simon EKPA…

I am sad to hear that Simon EKPA has been arrested in Finland. While we had our differences, I still loved him as a brother even though he publicly declared me his enemy on his twitter account. Simon & I disagreed on Principle, Approach and Strategy. I would never wish him d£ath even though he wishes me d£ath – he told me so.

I believe in a peaceful, prosperous and economically liberated South Eastern Nigeria using the resources and intellectualism of the region. My economic strategy is to inspire Collaboration and Partnership among entrepreneurs in the region and Nigeria as a whole. I believe Partnership is the driving force of prosperity in any country, region or group.

Simon EKPA also claimed to want prosperity for the region but believes that prosperity can come from Chaos, war, Division, vi0lence, thr£ats and disregard for intellectualism in the region.

My approach has led to the mental, social and economic empowerment of thousands of Nigerians including those in the South East region without causing physical harm to anyone. The evidence is documented in testimonies shared on this platform.

Simon Ekpa’s approach has led to vi0lence, d£aths, insecurity and resultant capital flight from the region as many businesses shun the South East for other peaceful regions. The evidence is everywhere including the trolls you will find on this post.

While it is noble to celebrate the passion with which Simon has called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, it is obvious that his strategies has failed to release Nnamdi Kanu. When a strategy fails, the strategist is expected to change his tactics. It’s only a mad man who continues to do the same thing and expect a different result. Sit at homes have failed to release Nnamdi Kanu instead it has crippled South East economy. If some of us were allowed to share our opinions without been called EFULEFU, I would have suggested a change in strategy. Ban Sit at Home – give people back their freedom. Win the hearts of those you claim to be fighting for. You can’t use guns to win hearts. If you manage to win the hearts of millions of people through genuine social impact, trust me, if you call for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, even the president will listen. A perfect example is VERY DARK MAN. He worked hard to win the hearts of millions of Nigerians. While in court for his own case, he met children who were detained on charges of treason – the same level of offence for which Nnamdi is in jail. VDM called for their immediate release. In a matter of hours, it went viral resulting to a Presidential order instructing the release of those children.

Note that VDM did not insult the President in his call. You can’t order a sitting President as if you control the Nigerian Military. The President of a country is more powerful than any terr0rist in that country. Hat£ or love him, he bears the constitutional power to legally k1ll or pardon. He controls national security agencies and enjoys INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION. Before you set out to declare war on a sitting President or a region under the President, make sure that you understand the oath and powers of his presidency. The only way to arm twist a sitting President is to use diplomacy.

I do not rejoice that Simon EKPA is now in jail. I weep because another intelligent Nigerian has allowed unbridled zeal without wisdom to limit himself within the 4 walls of a gated room because of lack of knowledge and strategy.
