Bini is part of igbo land according to bini history by Obiajunwa D. Obinna
With the stories of Ezechima and Akalaka (both claimed to be Princes of Bini and with complete Igbo names) migrating from Bini eastward, I wonder how they found themselves in the Oba circle.
Ezechima founded Onitsha while Akalaka founded Ekpeye and Ogba. Both left Bini because of their disloyalty to Oba Awuarre.
Bini is part of igbo territory before the inveders from ile ife. That’s why we see igbo men like , Akalaka, ochichi, ezechime, left there onces occupied land and run back to there brothers when they inveders are looking for them to kpai.
If this is not so , tell me how, ezechime, Akalaka, ochichi etc bears igbo names, not bini. All the communities the found, bears igbo names not bini, those noble men gave there children igbo names not bini, they maintained ofor na ogu one of the most respected igbo culture and tradition. My opinion, bini is part of igbo land because we onces occupied that land, unless they tell me that ezime and Akalaka were migrates that later left and go back to igbo land were they came from, else, igodomigodo (aka) bini is our land.
I remain a proud igbo man .
