Sincerely speaking, no such word as DNA in igbo traditions and culture.
Sincerely speaking, no such word as DNA in igbo traditions and culture.
In those good old days Igbo traditions dont have such word such DNA.
But does the Igbo traditions permit sexval promiscuity? No .
In those good old days , an Igbo man can marry a woman with her pregnancy even if he is not responsible.
He is aware he is not responsible even members of his family know as well.
Nobody would raise any objection or deny the child rights and privileges in the family.
No call for a DNA test from friends or any member of the family.
There’s another scenario common in some families in Igbo land.
They know their brother is impotent and cant impregnate a woman.
Their brother’s marriage would remain peaceful.
You wont hear any noise about his impotence.
They call the wife , perform some traditional rites to enable her have sex outside with another man.
She will take in outs and have children for her husband.
Families do this to enable their brothers have children that will bear their names when they are no more.
