God is a name derived from a German deity called Gudan. Gudan is the God of the Vikings, Norsemen.
Gudan is also known as Odin and woden. Wednesday is a day of worshipping Woden, Odin, Gudan. (Wodenday… Wednesday)

Thor is the son of Odin, Thursday is a day of worshipping Thor.
