Instead of Releasing Nnamdi Kanu, you are Putting Army Checkpoint everywhere in the east, But After 100 KM In The North,You Can’t Find The Army- Sowore
According to a recent video posted by Symfoni TV, Omoyele Sowore has criticized the Nigerian government for what he describes as deliberate and biased security deployment across the country.
He noted that while every kilometer in the Southeast is littered with army checkpoints, the North remains under-policed, despite rampant insecurity.
In Sowore’s words: “It is the Nigerian government that goes to the southeast to go and militarize it. It is the Nigerian government that refused to released Nnamdi Kanu, something that would have solved a big problem, and then instead of releasing him (Kanu) you go and put army on the east. Every kilometer in the southeast there are army checkpoints but after 100 kilometers in the north you can’t find the army. There was a man in Katsina who said there are only 5 guns in an LGA in Katsina State”
”After 100 kilometers in the North, you can’t find the army,” Sowore said. He accused the regime of prioritizing personal interests over national security and claimed the root cause of insecurity is economic inequality”
