Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traoré, while speaking to the media recently, made it clear he’s fed up with foreign groups trying to mess with his country’s morale.

“As for those, we will fight them here,” he said, as monitored by Ghbase News, referring to a so-called NGO he claims isn’t even a real non-governmental organization because it’s actually funded by a foreign government.

According to Traoré, this group has been busy publishing reports accusing Burkina Faso’s Defence and Security Forces (FDS) and Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland (VDP) of abuses.

But he’s not buying it: “It went in here. It came out there,” he said, brushing off the claims as attempts to break their spirit.

And he’s not stopping at just words — Traoré revealed they’ll be filing an official complaint against the NGO.

He also connected the dots back to the chaos in Libya, saying the same kind of f.ake reports helped bring down Gaddafi and flood the Sahel with weapons.

“The same NGO that made false reports and gave them to those who wanted to create a rebellion… these millions of lives that have been taken in the Sahel, we must file a complaint against this NGO,” he stated firmly.
