The assassination of Former President of Burkina Faso, Capt Thomas Isidore Noël Sankara:

He was assassinated by a man he called his own brother.

He was assassinated by a man who lived with them in the same house from their childhood,

Sankara’s father took Capt Blaise Compaoré as his own and made him his son.

Sankara’s father got his son and Blaise Compaoré enlisted into Upper Volta Armed forces the same day.

Sankara made Blaise Compaoré his Vice President when he took over the country, But Sankara was killed and buried like a fowl by the same man who lived with them since childhood.

It took the interventions of several Heads of State before he could be reburied.

Beware of who you call your own when you win power.

Report has it that, Compaoré was misled by François Mitterrand of France, Houphouët Boigny of La Côte d’Ivoire and General Gnassingbe Eyadema of Togo.

Where is Houphouët Boigny of La Côte d’Ivoire and General Gnassingbe Eyadema today after death?
Their names shall not be written in chronicle of Leaders because they betrayed us. May the Soul of our Ancestor of Revolution (Sankara ) hunt them eternally.
