THE LOVE OF MONEY

1 Timothy 6:10, Ecclesiastates 10:19,
Matthew 26:14-16

Beloved, Money is good, but the love of it is evil. The main attribute to love of money is desperation to acquire it, by all means. This Particularly, has led many people astray, by making one to commit varying degrees of crimes against themselves, their close relative and the entire humanity at large. It is written in I Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is a root of all Kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness and pierced themselves through with many sorrow.” Also, in Hebrews 13:5, the word of God says “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.” Many people sold parts of their body for money. Some sold their children, parents; some their relatives, while some others indulged in yahoo, kidnapping, ritual killing, cultism and drug trafficking for money. Also in Matthew 26:14-16, Judas Iscariot one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus went to the chief priests, collected money and betrayed his master for absolute love of money. On the other hand, money solves multitudes of problems. You need money to attend properly to your financial necessities and obligations. It is written in Ecclesiastics 10:19, “A feast is made for laughter and wine makes merry; but money answers everything.” It is important, to note that money is good when gotten through normal legitimate means, but desperation to get it is the root of all evil. Because you are connected to this program, the Lord will be gracious to you. He will grant you the grace of contentment and to seck him first and his righteousness and other things will be added to you as specifically written in Matthew 6:33. You shall not labor in vain! Your labour shall bear fruits, in season and out of season. He will generously grant you financial Vindication, empowerment and settlement, in the name of Jesus. It is done.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, by your power, deliver me from every inordinate love of money, in the name of Jesus.
   2: Lord deliver me from every financial recklessness in my life, in the name of Jesus.
2. My father, grant me adequate financial ability to attend properly to my financial necessities and obligation, in the name of Jesus.
