Obinna sipped the wine. After having a little sip, he gave the Princess a little to sip. Which she took. After the princess had a sip. She gave Obinna the new yam and he also ate and she ate also.
The Villagers gave the couple a round of applause.

Obinna! Obinna! The Villagers chanted as Obinna stood up and started dancing with the Princess.

The Princess danced along as she took him to her father.

Of course some chiefs didn’t agree with the decision of the King handing over his first daughter to a stranger who had stayed only but a couple of months in their village.

While other villagers jubiliated, others murmured.

The Couples returned back to their sit. That was when Princess Urenna started looking around in search of her aid.

Have you seen Ada? The Princess asked Obinna. I haven’t. What is the problem? Obinna asked Princess Urenna. She is supposed to be here. Princess Urenna said.

She is not supposed to be here Princess. Today is your day; our day. You shouldn’t be bothered about your aid. Obinna said.

The Princess Ignored Obinna and asked one of the maidens to go call Ada.

You shouldn’t be worried about Ada. You should be worried about us. Bringing up your aid in a day like this is not okay. Obinna said. But Ada still ignored him.

Few minutes later the maiden came back to the Princess. Did you see her? The Princess asked the Maiden. No my princess. I didn’t see her. The maiden said.

Did you search everywhere? The Princess asked. Yes, I searched everywhere my Princess. The maiden said.

Where would she have gone too? Th Princess said to herself as she stood up to leave.

Princess where are you going to? Obinna asked the Princess. I’m going to look for Ada. The Princess said and stood up and left. Obinna had to follow her.

The King was watching them and saw what was going on. He sent his guards to go know why the couple left.

The first wrestler came into the arena. The prisoners were lied to. The prison guards told them they would wrestle among themselves. But the truth is that the prisoner would wrestle against Enyi the strongest wrestler in Mgbidi.

Enyi is the strongest undefeated wrestler in Mgbidi and the prisoners would wrestle against him till déāth. One by one. It was just like the prisoner were sentenced to their d3ath on the new yam festival day. He was called the Elephant for a reason. He is big and strong. Only his echoe could shake the atmosphere.

The first wrestler came into the arena only for him to realize he was f!ghting against Enyi.

This isn’t what we were told. The prisoner said before the wrestling started.

Arghhhhh. Enyi screamed and even the villagers that were watching also got scared.
