Azuka ordered Prince Afam to f0ll0w him to the Hunter’s hut.

Obinna and Abata also came along.

When they arrived the Hunter’s hut. They saw the hunter coming back from somewhere.

Where are you coming back from at this time of the night? Prince Afam asked Ebube the hunter.

My Prince, I am a hunter. I went to check my traps. Ebube replied.

Prince Afam turned to Azuka. Azuka nodded. Where is your nephew? Prince Afam asked Azuka.

My Prince, Abata here has already come before to ask about my nephew. He isn’t here. Is he not supposed to be in the palace? And who are this men you came with? Ebube asked Prince Afam.

He then looked closed and recognized Obinna. Is this not the Princess husband? Where did you keep my nephew? Ebube turned the question to them.

You think we are here to play right? We saw you come home with your nephew on the festival day. Prince Afam said.

My Prince, I think you saw wrong. What is it you want with my nephew that can’t even wait till tomorrow morning? He is not here. Ebube said.

Abata go inside the hut and search everywhere. The Prince Ordered ignoring what the hunter said.

Azuka f0ll0wed him and they started searching. They searched all the hut in the compound.

When they entered the main hut where Ebube and his wife Uju sleeps, Uju had to come out with the twins and Ebube helped her and carried the boy twin.

What is happening? Uju asked her husband. It’s alright. Ebube said to his wife. His boy twin started crying and he pat his back.

Abata and Azuka came out of the hut and Azuka approached Ebube.

Where did you keep him? Azuka said to Ebube face to face.

I don’t know what you are talking about. Ebube replied. Ebube saw the rage búrñ!ng in Azukå’s eyes.

Obinna at that moment knew that Azuka wanted to do something regréttable. Brother you have to stop. Obinna said. But Azuka didn’t listen. Brother! Stop! I don’t think Obiagu is here. Obinna said.

Immediately Obinna called Obiagu’s name. Ebube’s eyes lit up. No one else knows Awele’s name is Obiagu. Who are this people? Ebube said to himself.

Azuka left Ebube and started going back to the hut without saying a word to anyone.

Obinna at that point knew he has m3ssed up by calling Obiagu’s name and his brother was already angry.

They four men left Ebube’s hut. What just happened here? Uju asked her husband. It’s a good thing they are gone now. Ebube said.

Who is that man? Why is his eyes on fire? How does he know that Awele is Obiagu? Uju asked. Uju you know I can’t answer this questions.

Let’s just keep it that Awele is safe now. That’s all that matters.

They four men were on their way home when Abata spoke. You know that the hunter is lying right? Abata said.

He is. He is hiding him somewhere. Obinna replied.

They arrived the hut. You can leave now. Azuka said to Prince Afam and Abata. And they went back to the Palace.

Brother. I’m sorry for… Before Obinna could complete the statement. Azuka stood up.

You are a weakling Obinna. You are lucky you didn’t call my name. The bl00d of the hunter and his family would have been in your hands. Azuka said and went inside the hut.

What do we do now? Uju asked Ebube. I must warn Awele to leave this village tonight. Ebube said.

He immediately went back to the hut at the boundary of the village and met Awele there.

Awele I might not be coming back here until the next market day.
