DIVINE MULTIPLICATION
2 Kings 4:1-7, 1 Kings 17:8-16,
Matthew 14:13-21

Multiplication is the act of increasing or cause to increase a given number
or quantity of something to a specified number of times. This implies that something has to be available before multiplication can be possible, therefore endeavour to find something doing. This is because God does not bless emptiness.

Perhaps, it is safe to state that multiplication is not for an idle man, who has nothing at all. It is possible that God can bless an idle man who has nothing doing by mercy, but multiplication is exclusively reserved for someone who has something already, which can be multiplied, no matter how small it may be.

A good example can be easily found in what happened in Matthew14:13-21, when the Lord fed five thousand men with five loaves and two fish. He first asked his disciples what they have, before ordering that what was available should be distributed to the people. It was during the distribution that multiplication took place.

Also, in 1 Kings 17:8-16, according to the Lord’s direction, as there was severe scarcity and hunger in Israel occasioned by terrible drought because of total absence of rain, Elijahwent to a widow at Zeraphath. He asked her for a drink, and a small loaf. She told him that she had nothing other than a small bowl of flour and oil by which she intended to prepare a meal for herself and her son before starving to death. Elijah ordered her to make a loaf for him and prepare the meal for her and her son, adding that the flour and oil shall not fail until restoration of rain in Israel. During the exercise, there was multiplication as the oil and flour lasted until the restoration of rain as Elijah had prophesied.

Similarly, in 2 Kings 4:1-7, the widow of a former prophet approached Elisha for help and told him that debtors came to take her two sons as slaves for the settlement for her unpaid debts. Elisha asked her what she had and she responded a small jar of oil. Then he ordered her to go to her neighbors and borrow empty jars as many as possible, adding that she should close the door and go inside her house with her two sons and fill up the empty jars with the small oil in her jar. She obeyed and there was miracle of multiplication as she filled all the empty jars she had borrowed, until there was no empty jar left, before the oil stopped flowing.

Before the end of this program, you shall be favored. There will be multiplication in your finances; there will be multiplication in your business and there will be multiplication in your marriage. Everything you are doing shall be multiplied, enhanced, enlarged and astonishingly increased, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS

1. My Father, by your order, let there be divine multiplication, enhancement, and financial overflow in my life in the name of Jesus.
2. Lord, by your power, bless and multiply the work of my hand, in the name of Jesus.
3. Lord, by your power, let every power frustrating the success and fruitfulness of my family and business be located and decisively destroyed by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
