LADIES, I WANT TO BEG YOU, IF POSSIBLE, I WILL GO ON MY KNEES…

Please, do not separate a man from his mother when you marry him especially if the mother suffered hard to raise him, went through hunger and hardship till he became the man you found admirable and worthy of your hand in marriage.

If his mother didn’t train him well, you woundnt give him second thought, talk less of accepting his marriage proposal!

Let her eat the fruit of her labour.

Allow your husband communicate with her often.

Let him send money to her as often as she needs it.

Allow him buy her the car, build the house and do everything he promised to do for her.

Allow him to wipe her away her tears and make her thank God he gave her such a grateful, kind hearted, compassionate son!

Don’t become his mother’s rival!

Don’t be jealous of his mother!

If his mother is over stepping boundaries, respectfully discuss with your husband who will know how to communicate this to his mother.

If her financial demands are more than what your family can bear, respectfully, wisely communicate this to your husband so you can both work on your family budget and know how to include her without running into red or debts!

Pray for your mother in law.

Love her, do not fight her.

Sow good seeds so you can reap good seeds.

May your future daughters in law allow your son to love you, cherish you and take care of you when the time comes!

May your sons not marry women who will turn their hearts against you!

May your daughters in law be to you what Ruth was to Naomi.

May your sons not marry daughters of Jezebel!

May they not marry their enemies!

  1. This is a good post on a topic we rarely speak about. My first husband’s mother was mean to me, but I always treated her kindly and respectfully. In the end, she was asking for me. Now, I have a daughter-in-law who is wonderful to me and very understanding of my close relationship with my son. Maybe this is because she knows I treat her as my daughter, but I am very grateful.
