Your work is priceless, and you deserve financial security. If you are a homemaker, ask your husband to support you by providing a monthly amount…no matter how small..just for you. Having your own bank account and savings gives you confidence and control over your life.

Let me start with my mother’s story. She joined the teaching profession and opened her own bank account. Her salary was modest, but what mattered was that she had her own money, her own financial independence. She never depended entirely on anyone. In contrast, her sisters relied on their husbands for financial support. Because of this dependence, they couldn’t stand up for themselves.
