- Battle of Jekow (1987) – Survived when his forces were cornered at the riverbank by the enemy.
- Bright Star Campaign (1989, Eastern Equatoria) – Fought in decisive battles that led to the liberation of Eastern Equatoria.
- Liberation of Kaya, Morobo, and Lanya (1990) – Contributed to the capture of these areas while preparing for the liberation of Western Equatoria.
- Capture of Ibba (1990) – Led his forces across many rivers without bridges to successfully capture Ibba.
- Battle of Maridi (1991) – Pushed enemy outposts and captured Maridi town.
- 1991 SPLM/SPLA Split Resistance – Led operations against the Nasir faction in Bor, Jalle, and Lilir, keeping the SPLM/SPLA alive during the crisis.
- Operation Jungle Storm (1992) – Participated in the offensive against Juba.
- Fighting the LRA (1998) – Engaged the Lord’s Resistance Army while crossing into Sudan; also led operations that liberated Liria, cutting off Torit from Juba.
- Darfur Front (early 2000s) – Tasked to open the Darfur front despite risks of flying outdated planes under enemy fire and bad weather.
- Independence Witness (2011) – Survived decades of war and lived to see the independence of South Sudan, later serving in various leadership capacities.
