The n0ise from the villagers starting disturbing the meeting King Nnanna was having with his elders.

King Nnanna came outside to know what was going on, only for him to see the surprise of his life. He saw Obiagu, they one him and his brothers unjustly k!lled because of the crown he is currently wearing on his head.

Obi- Obiagu? King Nnanna said.

Igwe!!! Obiagu said as he bowed down and greeted the King. It is me your brother Obiagu in flesh. Obiagu said.

Where have you been Obiagu? We all thought you were k!lled by a w!ld animal in the forest. The King said. Thanks to the gods, I made it out alive. Obiagu said.

That’s impressive. Come on in. Everyone my brother is back and alive. King Nnanna said. And just then Prince Lotanna rushed out to see for himself. We will celebrate his return tomorrow. Tell all the villagers that there will be a feast in the palace tomorrow. The King announced and immediately the villagers started celebrating.

The elders took Obiagu inside and started asking him what happened.

Your mother is fine. We kept her in one of the royal hut. King Nnanna said.

“Back in Mgbidi Village”.

Azuka told Obinna to visit his wife Princess Urenna and make sure to execute all the plans they have earlier discussed.

Before Obinna went to the palace to see his wife, Azuka told Ejike to call Abata so that they could go to the the drunkard hut Emerie to make he wasn’t running his mouth.

Azuka and Abata left to pay Emerie a visit and Obinna went to the palace. His wife was in her chamber when Obinna visited. Just as Azuka suggested Obinna consoled Princess Urenna for the lost of her brother.

The Princess looked at him immediately he said that.

“Back to Emene Village”.

Obiagu went to visit his sick mother who was already half d3ath. She was shrinking to her d3ath. No one believed her when she told them her son was still alive. He eye sight were rarely visible.

But Immediately Obiagu entered the hut. She felt his presence.

Her voice was no longer audible. Obiagu. She said said in a low tune immediately Obiagu entered the hut.

Tears dropped down Obiagu’s eyes immediately he saw his mother. Mama. Obiagu said and immediately went and gently hugged his mother.

Prince Lotanna came to King Nnanna hut. With the way he acted cool at us. I don’t think he knows. Prince Lotanna said to King Nnanna.

With the look on his face. He knows everything. He remembers everything. King Nnanna said.

I I doubt that. Lotanna said. Let’s just hope he doesn’t remember. King Nnanna said.

What if he does remember? What do we do? Lota nna asked. I guess we will be banished from this village. King Nnanna said.

What if we beg him before he exposes us. Lotanna said.

Lotanna wasn’t having it, he still thinks he should beg for forgiveness.

Lotanna is the fourth son of King Ikenna. He was the softest among his brothers and the closest to Obiagu when he was still in Emene before the forest incident.

Obiagu started catching up with his sick mother. I’m happy you are back. The mother said. I’m back mama. Obiagu said. At least now I will d!e peacefully. The mother said to Obiagu. You will not d!e mama. I am back now and you will get better. Obiagu said.

When Obiagu was done with his mother he came back to the King’s chamber and met his brothers alone there.

It’s a good thing you are back. Welcome home ones again. King Nnanna said to Obiagu.

I’m happy you are not glad to see me back. Obiagu said.

Why would you say that brother. We are happy that you are alive and healthy. Prince Lotanna said.

During the ceremony tomorrow. I want you both to confess to the whole village about what you did to me. Prince Obiagu said to his brothers and left.

Obiagu went and stayed with his mother in her hut.

“Back at Mgbidi Village”.

Princess Urenna listened to what Obinna told her.

That night the King of Mgbidi was k!lled just as planned and Azuka heard about it.

Azuka was now one step to becoming King of Emene.

He looked up at the stars and smiled. I am Azuka. Azuka said to himself.
