“I Might Not Even Be Alive Soon” – Peter Obi Alleges Threat to His Life, Accuses Tinubu Government of Deliberately Targeting and Frustrating Him

Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has alleged that his life is under threat, claiming that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deliberately targeting and frustrating him.
Speaking in an interview on News Central TV, Obi said he believes the government is going after him personally.

“The way they’re going now, I might not even be alive soon. They’re going after my life. Every single thing I do for a living, this government is deliberately frustrating it. The government is attacking me personally.”

Obi also said he remains committed to Nigeria despite the challenges, insisting that he would not be intimidated or distracted from speaking on issues affecting the country. During the interview, he criticized the Tinubu administration’s handling of the economy, insecurity, governance, and democratic institutions, arguing that Nigeria is facing one of its most difficult periods. He also reiterated that, if elected president, he would serve only a single four-year term for the sake of stability.

The former Anambra State governor did not present specific evidence during the interview to support his allegation that his life is under threat.

His comments have since generated widespread reactions, with supporters expressing concern while critics have challenged his claims.
