He warned us 50 years ago: The white man left a country, but he left his MENTALITY in our heads.

That mentality is why:
We bleach our skin to be beautiful
We shame our child for not speaking English, but feel nothing when he can’t speak his own mother tongue
We wear suit inside 40-degree heat in Abuja and call it “corporate”
Our leaders steal money here and hide it in London, America

That is COLONIAL MENTALITY.

And that is why Africa can never unite. You can’t unite people who hate themselves.

Until we free our minds, our flags are just decorations.
