As Eke morning opens, I stand upon the earth with a clear head, a truthful heart and a spirit rooted in the wisdom of my people.
I honour the land that sustains my existence, the Chi that accompanies my journey and the good ancestral heritage entrusted to my lineage.
EKE, WITNESS MY WORDS THIS MORNING.
May my Chi awaken my understanding. May my head recognise the road of my destiny. May my feet never carry me into places where my peace, dignity and future will be diminished.
MY OFOR SPEAKS:
Let every good opportunity meant for me find its rightful path.
Let my honest labour produce meaningful results.
Let truth speak where my name has been misrepresented.
Let wisdom prevail where confusion has taken root.
Let my hands receive the fruits of diligence, and let my mind recognise the opportunities that deserve my attention.
Whatever has remained stagnant in my life, may I receive the courage to move forward. Whatever has been troubling my household, may wisdom lead us towards peace. Whatever appears attractive but carries destruction, may discernment help me recognise it before I commit myself.
May the good wisdom of my ancestors strengthen my character. May I never repeat a destructive pattern simply because it existed before me. May my lineage be remembered for integrity, courage and the goodness we leave in the lives of others.
EKE THURSDAY DECLARATION
I shall not exchange my integrity for temporary prosperity.
I shall not allow envy to poison my spirit.
I shall not surrender my destiny to fear.
I shall not seek another person’s downfall to establish my success.
May my Chi guide my decisions. May my Ofor remind me of truth and accountability. May my hands build what my mouth has declared.
May my household know peace, my finances receive stability, my work find direction and my name carry honour.
May I recognise the right people, make wise agreements and possess the courage to leave what no longer serves my well-being.
Let my head remain settled. Let my Chi guide my steps. Let my Ofor stand for truth. Let my labour produce evidence.
May this Eke bring clarity to my path, strength to my spirit and meaningful progress to the work of my hands.
What is good, may I recognise and nurture. What is harmful, may I have the wisdom to avoid. What I desire, may I pursue with clean hands and a disciplined spirit.

My people, enter this Eke Thursday with a clear mind and a disciplined spirit. Guard your words, examine your decisions and be careful about the agreements you enter.
Do not only ask for prosperity; learn to manage what comes into your hands. Do not only ask for open doors; prepare yourself to walk through them. Do not only invoke your ancestors; preserve the good values that make your lineage worthy of remembrance.
Remember, a powerful declaration must be supported by honest work, courage and responsible action.
