๐ฅ THE MESSAGE EVERY BLACK CHILD MUST HEAR
To every African child growing up today: you are not born merely to consume the inventions of others. You can learn to create, discover, build, and innovate!
You can become an engineer who designs machines, a scientist who develops medicines, a programmer who builds technology, an inventor who solves agricultural problems, or an entrepreneur who transforms an idea into an industry.
But inspiration alone is not enough. We must invest in education, research, laboratories, manufacturing, and opportunities for young innovators.
We must also teach our history accurately. We should celebrate genuine achievements without claiming inventions that cannot be historically verified.
Our goal is not to prove that one race is superior to another. Our goal is to demonstrate that Black people have always been part of humanity’s story of creativity, discovery, and progress.
The world should recognize these contributions, and our children should grow up knowing that they, too, can help shape the future.
๐ BLACK EXCELLENCE IS NOT JUST ABOUT THE PAST. IT IS A RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FUTURE!
Let us discuss: Which of these inventors inspires you the most? And what must Africa do today to produce the next generation of world-changing scientists, engineers, and inventors?
