As Orie morning rises, I stand upon the earth remembering that my roots carry history, my Chi gives me a personal path to walk, and my character determines the kind of legacy I leave behind.
May the wisdom of my worthy ancestors strengthen my understanding. May my Chi guide my choices, and may I never become so consumed by the struggles of today that I lose sight of the person I am meant to become.
MY OFOR SPEAKS
Ofor of truth and justice, let my mouth speak honestly, my hands work righteously, and my heart remain free from the desire to prosper through another person’s suffering.
On this Orie morning, may I have the wisdom to recognise what is good for my life and the courage to reject what will destroy my peace. May the seeds of honest labour find fertile ground, and may patience keep me steady until my efforts bear fruit.
May peace dwell in my household. May I break harmful patterns without forgetting the wisdom of my roots. May I walk with dignity among people and never allow hardship to make me abandon the truth that sustains a worthy life.
MY DECLARATION
My Chi shall guide my steps. My Ofor shall stand for truth. I shall not sell my integrity for temporary gain. May wisdom direct my choices, courage strengthen my spirit, and honest labour build my future. I shall honour my roots by the goodness I practise and the legacy I leave behind.
