If They H@rm Him, Will Anyone React? Why The Oppress0rs Needed To Destr0y The Structure

There was a time a journalist asked Mazi Nnamdi Kanu if he was ready to diie for the sake of the freedom he is demanding. His answer was a shock to millions of his followers. He did not only say that he is ready to diie. He also said that his death will quicken the restoration of Biafra.

Listen attentively, because I am going to explain lots of things here.

After the rendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I wrote here that the IPOB structure must be protected. If the IPOB structure isn’t protected and the strvggle gets destr0yed, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu might be h@rmed by those oppressors holding him. I said the only reason they won’t h@rm him is that the structure is still intact, because you are still behind him. The oppress0rs always consider what will happen should they h@rm him.

This was why the oppress0rs needed to destrọ̀y the struggle, blackmail it, and buy off leaders, so that when anything happens, nothing will follow. Naturally, action gets reaction. But when the people who should react are scattered, the reaction will be neutralised.

We all defended the exDOS led by Mazi Edoziem. We stood in the gap for them because we believed they were standing for the struggle and in defence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. And that was exactly what they were doing after the rendition. But along the line, they were bought over, and they turned against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. They started blackmailing him. They started lying against him. They started insvlting him and even said they wanted him expelled from the struggle.

This is exactly how a people prepare and clear the ground for the kị́lling of their own leader. Remember when they said, “atụkwala Mazi Nnamdi Kanu nga, and if such happens, nothing will happen. If we pr0test for three days, we go in.” This was said by a leader. You are telling your enemy from Radio Biafra that you will not do anything should anything happen to your leader. The oppress0rs are not the ones underestimating you. You are underestimating yourself. Even if you can’t do anything, why not keep quiet and let them guess? But he sent that message because he works for the oppress0rs.

Imagine that they weren’t sacked and the government h@rmed the IPOB leader. Imagine it for a second. Oh, you don’t want to imagine it, right? Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said he is ready to give his life, and that his de@th will quicken Biafra. And believe me, the oppress0rs are aware of this. That is why they worked to scatter the family and compr0mise the exDOS, so they could rechannel the minds of Biafrans away from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. So that eventually, if anything happens to him, no one will care.

Now understand what he meant. When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said his de@th will quicken Biafra, he was not speaking in despair. He was speaking from confidence in a structure. He believes his de@th won’t be an end to the restoration of Biafra, just as his imprisonment shouldn’t be the end. A struggle that depends on one man ends with that man, but a struggle with a strong structure outlives any man. That is the purpose of the IPOB structure, and that is why the leadership must continue.

But look at what continuity demands. How can a leadership that has been bought over restore Biafra in the absence of the leader? A leadership whose loyalty now belongs to the government and no longer to their leader and the people? Succession does not work on titles alone. It works on trust. For a smooth transition, there must be trust between the followers and the leadership. When there is suspicion, people will not follow, and when people do not follow, there is no transition, only confusion. And confusion is exactly what the oppress0rs are praying for.

This is the d@mage the exDOS did. They destr0yed the trust people had in them. They rose against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who has sacrificed what none of them has sacrificed or is willing to sacrifice. Most of them are even hiding their identity and will not risk coming home. And if they do, they will go through apianway.

What the exDOS was doing was d@ngerous. It put Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at risk. It marked him as rejected, and once such a thing is established, the oppress0rs might act on it. So what did Mazi Nnamdi Kanu do? He quickly dissolved the exDOS. And when they started messing up, he expelled them.

This was to protect the soul of IPOB, which the government tried to snatch through compr0mise. And a fourth administration was born. A group of intelligent men and women who are loyal and filled with integrity. Men who know what leadership is all about. Men and women who can be trusted.

Now the oppressors are aware that the exDOS failed. And the IPOB leader can’t easily be h@rmed when he has a powerful DOS and millions of people standing behind him. It also means that, whatever the future holds, the movement has a leadership the people can follow without doubt, and that is what a smooth transition needs.

With this DOS, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu knows that dedicated men and women are behind him.
