Today, our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Dagbon and all Ghanaians as we mourn the passing of the Overlord of Dagbon.

The Ya Naa was more than a traditional ruler. He was a custodian of history, culture, peace, and the rich heritage of one of Africa’s most revered kingdoms. His reign reflected the enduring strength of tradition and the vital role of chieftaincy in preserving identity and promoting unity.

As the Kingdom of Dagbon enters a period of mourning, may we all remember the values of wisdom, dignity, reconciliation, and service that define true leadership.
