The French leader also voiced concern over continued delays in the Future Combat Air System (FCAS/SCAF), the joint French-German-Spanish project to develop Europe’s next-generation fighter aircraft. He warned that political disagreements and slow progress could weaken Europe’s long-term defense strategy and technological competitiveness.
