Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame has dropped a continent-shaking truth Africa must build a single unified currency, backed by its own natural wealth, not the dollar or the euro.
And he is absolutely right.

Africa is the richest continent on earth in natural resources yet we remain economically divided. Why?

Because a Nigerian cannot use the Naira in Sierra Leone.

A Sierra Leonean cannot use the Leone in Nigeria.
54 nations. 54 currencies. One continent that keeps bleeding wealth to foreign powers.
Kagame’s message is clear:

Africa holds over 30% of the world’s mineral wealth. We grow the cocoa, mine the gold, drill the oil yet we price it all in dollars and euros.
