During one of the visits he received following his release from detention in 2017, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the Biafra self-determination movement.

He remained resolute and optimistic, declaring that fear would never determine the destiny of a people seeking what they believe to be justice and freedom.

He told his visitors, “We are not afraid of anyone.” The statement reflected both his personal determination and his conviction that the pursuit of self-determination must continue despite the challenges confronting those who support the cause.

In that address, Kanu also declared that “the zoo must fall” — an expression he has used on previous occasions in reference to the Nigerian state — before affirming his belief that “Biafra must come,” expressing confidence that the aspirations of those who seek Biafra would ultimately be realized.

Supporters have interpreted these remarks as a message of courage, perseverance, and steadfastness.

Many view them as a call to remain united, disciplined, and committed to their shared objectives despite adversity.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is indeed another saviour and genuine Biafrans loves him so much.

Each time I watch this clip and see Mazi AnayoChukwu Nwaokike aka Ikonso, my tears 😭😭😭😭 will drop heavily. He died protecting Biafra land.
