On November 12, 1994, Bianca Onoh married the former Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, in Abuja.

Bianca was 27 years old, while Ojukwu was 61, making their age difference about 34 years.
Their rel@tionship had actually begun several years earlier.

In a 2010 interview, Bianca recalled that they had been together since 1989, when she was 22.

Despite the significant age d1fference, their relationship eventually led to marriage, and Bianca became Mrs. Ojukwu.

Interestingly, in the same 2010 interview, Bianca said that although she was happy to have found and married her husband, she would not encourage her d@ughter to make a similar m@rital choice.

The m@rriage lasted until Ojukwu’s de@th in 2011.

Their union remains one of the more discussed marriages in Nigeria’s politic@l and social history — bringing together a young former beauty queen and the celebrated former leader of Biafra.

A marriage that became part of Nigerian history.
