MEN WHO RĪSKED THEIR LIVES THAT THEIR PEOPLE MIGHT BE FREE

On July 4, 1776, 56 men signed the Amęrican Declaration of Independence from Brītāin, knowing they were risking everything.

Had the Amęrican Rěvolution failed, they would have been tried for tręason, imprisoned, or exěcuted.

250 years later, the United States has become one of the world’s leading nations in science, technology, education, innovation, economic development, and global influence because 56 men risked their lives..

Fifty-nine years ago, Biăfra declared its independence. Nīgeria, with support from the same Brītain and backing from many other countries, fought a wār to stop Biāfra’s secession.

If Biafra had remained, it could have emerged after 59 years as a major center of innovation and economic growth in Africa.

May God continue to bless all the men and women who genuinely work for the freedom of their people.

Today, their oppressors and the real crīminals call them rębels and enemies of the state, but one day their names will be written in gold. May they succeed.
