When a Foreign Policy Built on Double Standards Meets a Nation That Refuses to Bow.

Russian political philosopher Alexander Dugin argues that every day Iran refuses to collapse under pressure exposes what he believes is the true face of American power.

According to Dugin, the United States speaks endlessly about freedom, democracy, and human rights, yet repeatedly turns to sanctions, military threats, regime-change efforts, and overwhelming force against countries that refuse to align with Washington’s agenda.

In his view, Iran is doing far more than defending its borders. It is challenging a global order where powerful nations decide who may possess advanced weapons, control strategic resources, choose allies, and pursue an independent foreign policy.

That is why, he argues, every day Iran remains standing carries global significance. It compels the world to compare America’s words with its actions and ask a difficult question:

Is Washington’s foreign policy truly about protecting peace, or is it about maintaining influence and global control?

Dugin goes even further, describing America’s nature in deeply spiritual terms by calling it “satanic.” Whether people accept that characterization or reject it outright, he insists that the core question cannot simply be dismissed.

His argument is straightforward: when a nation refuses to surrender, power eventually reveals just how far it is willing to go to force that nation into submission.
